New powder for the 224 Valkyrie Looks like a lion has made a new powder again it’s called TS 15–5 looks like the burn right it’s kind of in between RL 15 and 16 it has an anti-copper filing agent and it is an extreme powder non-temperature sensitive give it a Roll maybe it will shoot through the same hole I really like the MR 2000 it’s my favorite of the Alliant powders but I’m also lazy reloader I like ball powder if you can you find any of it  buy  it let us know I’ll do the same hope this helps DD

« on: October 03, 2021, 10:17:26 PM »
I know some of you will think I have fell down and Hurt my head but here me out I  bought a Lee APP reloader   Right as i I needed a new reloader  I have eight Machines I did not need nine LOL   before you pass judgement on Me Look on You Tube at the APP this little $70.00 outfit is amazing .
Swedging primer pockets is not on the top of my list of things I like to do , I de prime all my brass after I go shooting for cleaning This Little bugger Rocks at Both  I will never use my Dillion for this ever or My B 2 This APP smokes them both . Brass these days is spendy and hard to find I have a far amount of 45 ACP brass lee makes a anti bulge pass trough Die and all so a bullet swedging die I just can't tell you what a great little reloading tool this is .
You can load single stage on it also  What a plus . When I unpacked it my Buddy Geoff thought I had lost my mind fact so did I all the fancy reloading stuff I have and I bought this  Yea Right in fact this is the best money I have spent in years  so If you are like me and shoot a lot take a look at the APP By Lee on You Tube  it will open your eyes DD

General Discussion / any of you have any AR 15 pistols
« on: June 13, 2021, 10:20:25 AM »
I zipped up to the range the other day to test some loads  there were two shooters to the left of me shooting AR Pistols one was a 7.5 the other a 10 inch , They were having a hard time getting them lined up. They asked for help so I set down and bore sighted them both , I was very impressed with these little fellers  . I was thinking if I built a 7.5 barrel and built it low mass I could work up a load with 55 gr cast powder coated bullets out of it maybe   I can almost get then to cycle in my 16 inch gun they eject but will not push the bolt back far enough . So this old men thinks if The pistol gas system may work with the low pressure load  .   When shooting full house loads in the 7.5 pistol You can feel the heat come off the gun the 7.5 and 10 inch shot very close to each other at 100 yards . I would like to hear your thoughts on this so please post your feedback  Good and Bad I am going to build a Pistol Not a Rifle  Thanks for your input DD

I know some of you may roll your eyes at all the work that was done to build this rifle about 8 years ago I built a 6MM Mach VI it was a bunch of fun but the barrel was short lived  it's 1500 round life was full of chamber setbacks LOL tell she was gone as the poor 30 inch tube set in the shop to be used as a pry bar or spacers as all shot out barrels Do I build my buddy a 6X45 AI it shot great so I dug the old girl out cleaned her Bore scoped it than cropped 4 inches off the breach and 0ne of the muzzel a little time cutting and threading she is ready teddy . My fire from load is 28.00 gr AA 2200 with 55 gr Nozler BT my full house load is 29.5 AA 2200 , Still with all my Medical stuff I am fighting this gun makes me look like a Rockstar   LOL a Old Rockstar here are some targets I shot yesterday  .   I day a great day at the range one young lad there had a fancy fancy chassy Guns in 6.5 Creedmore  night force The works suppressor He was very amazed at this old girl  Hope you all ingoy as much as I did DD
