Berger 80gr VLD

Looks like my PSA barrel with the moly coated berger VLD hits the lands of the rifling at 2.240.  I loaded them to 2.230.

I decided to try 25grains of RL-15 since it has been doing good with the 75-80gr bullets.  I knew full well this was going to be a hotter load due to the shorter bullet over all length, boy was I right.  I could feel the recoil pretty well.  I will be stepping down to 23 grains and work up from there.  I only loaded 5 bullets, the group wasn't anything great .80".

Worked up 24.6 grains of IMR 4064 and it had a velocity of 2731.  Will be working up to 25gr next, shows real promise for groups.  I was shooting for velocity today and 3 out of the 5 would touch.  Two sometimes would be a bug hole.  Hoping to reach close to 2800 fps in my 20" barrel using the 80 grain projectile and accurate.
